<h3><b>CONFLICT OF INTEREST FOR JUDGES</b></h3>
<p>A conflict of interest can arise if a relative or student from a judge’s school appears as a contestant. If such situation is to arise during round 1, then the relevant judge must not score that participant. Instead, the average from the other 2 judges is to be used for that judges score, and should be marked clearly on the final scoring sheets submitted at the conclusion.</p>
<p>If a conflict of interest is to arise during round 2, the lead judge will substitute an alternative judge for the level in which a conflict arises.</p>
<h3><b>TIMING RULES</b></h3>
<p>Each Participant will be given 3 minutes total for the speech.<br />
Every extra second used after 3 minutes will impact the results.</p>
<p>Bell # 1: <strong>Participant will start on the Buzz of the Bell.</strong><b><br />
</b>Bell # 2: <strong>Warning Bell after 2.5 mins </strong><b><br />
</b>Bell # 3: <strong>FINAL CALL, any extra seconds/minutes will impact </strong><b><br />
<strong>             the final score.</strong></b></p>
<p><strong>-          </strong><strong>- &#8211; Hard Stop at 3.5 mins &#8211; - -</strong></p>
<p>Participants, at their choosing, are entitled to continue up to the 3.5 min limit. Although timing over 3 min will negatively impact in the timing category, there may be a positive impact on other categories. No words uttered after 3.5 mins are to be considered.</p>
<p>Timing is to be assessed by one judge only. The other 2 judges do not need to be pre-occupied with this category.</p>
<h3><b>JUDGING CRITERIA</b></h3>

Alhamdulillah, this event has become one of the largest outdoor gatherings of Muslims in North America. This year the similar events are being held in ten metropolitan cities nationwide. We are extremely happy to Welcome You to this exciting and wholesome day at Six Flags. The main purpose of the GMAD is to provide Islamic entertainment for the entire family while promoting the Islamic Heritage. The multi-ethnic GMAD brings Muslims of all walks of life to offer enjoyment in a fun-filled and healthy environment. Alhamdulillah, this year, thousands of Muslims are celebrating at Six Flags, NJ, from as far as Michigan, Missouri, and more. We invite you to visit the Bazaar that features vendors from all over the Tri-State area. The quality ethnic halal food vendors have worked hard to make your GMAD a delicious one! <p>We dedicate this event to Br. Tariq Amanullah and Br. Mohammad Younis, two devoted and pioneer ICNA-NJ volunteers. Br. Tariq Amanullah, who worked on the 96th floor of WTC, Tower 2, passed away on 9/11. Br. Mohammad Younis, in-charge of food arrangements at previous GMAD events, passed away in 2007 on Eid day.</p>
<p>This event was first held in 1999.</p>
